Reconstruction of time and space within the period of 2 days in Tikveš castle, Kopački rit:

Kopački Rit (Kopački tršćak)
nature park not far from the mouth of the Drava river, and near the serbian - croatian border is one of the most important, the greatest and most attractive preserved floodplain areas in Europe. It consists of numerous sleeves, ridges and lakes along the Danube river. The proximity of a large town such as Osijek and its outskirts, as well as excellent traffic connections (the road, the railway, the airplane, the boat) provide the park with a high number of visitations. Beside the hikers and the tourists, many experts and scientists from all around Europe have been drawn to the beauty of "intact" nature, to the opulence of water and flora and fauna. A part of Kopački rit has been isolated and placed under stronger protection as a special animal reservation. The whole area has been affected by war destructions in September of 1991.
Tikveš castle
Tikveš, an austrian hunting castle better known under the label of Tito's castle, is situated within the park's area. The central castle has been built in the second half of the 19th century. The complex served as a hunting resort, in which members of the Habsburg family resided first, followed by the members of the Karađorđević dinasty, and the Yugoslavian president, Josip Broz Tito.
These castles were one of the favorite places of gathering for many statesmen and celebrities.
